Bardiya, Nepal – In a devastating incident, a young woman lost her life in Bardiya as a result of a tiger attack. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Srijana Dangi, a resident of Shaktipur village in Madhuban Municipality-5, as confirmed by the Division Forest Office Bardia.
Prabin Bidari, the Head of the Divisional Forest Office in Bardiya, revealed that the unfortunate incident unfolded while Srijana was tending to her goats near the Chiroute community forest when a tiger suddenly attacked her.
The Bardia District Police Office reported that Srijana’s lifeless body was discovered at the scene of the incident. Subsequently, her remains have been transported to Bardia Hospital for a post-mortem examination. This particular community forest, nestled between the Bardia National Park and the Katarniaghat Wildlife Reserve in India, is situated along the Jaibik route.
