The Governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region (JAR) in Russia’s Far East, Rostislav Goldstein, has declared the region’s willingness to provide refuge for individuals affected by the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, regardless of their background.

In a statement on Sunday, Governor Goldstein emphasized the importance of valuing every life and expressed the JAR’s readiness to host those who seek a peaceful resolution. Refugees from both sides of the conflict will be offered support and shelter in the Jewish Autonomous Region, he announced via Telegram.

Governor Goldstein also highlighted the JAR’s history of fostering peaceful coexistence among diverse cultures and faiths, emphasizing the tragic consequences of violence affecting innocent civilians, including the elderly, women, and children. The ongoing strife in Israel and Gaza deeply concerns him, he stated.
