In a somber incident, one person lost their life after being crushed on the Janakpur-Jayanagar railway line. The spokesperson for the District Police Office Dhanusha, Ranjan Ava, conveyed the unfortunate news that a 50-year-old man met his demise near Baidehi Station in the Bideha municipality of Dhanusha.
The incident unfolded earlier today as the train was en route from Janakpur to Jayanagar. Despite the prompt response of law enforcement, the identity of the deceased remains unknown at the time of this report.
DSP Ava revealed that the police have swiftly arrived at the scene and are diligently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
