Microsoft has recently welcomed Sam Altman, former CEO of OpenAI, and Greg Brockman, co-founder of OpenAI, to join their ranks. Altman’s departure from OpenAI occurred last Friday, following the board’s decision, citing a lack of confidence in his leadership abilities.
However, after a weekend of discussions aimed at the possibility of Altman returning to OpenAI, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella disclosed that both Altman and Brockman would be taking the reins to lead Microsoft’s innovative advanced AI research team.
