Lalitpur, Nepal – Lalitpur City FC has added an international dimension to their squad for the second edition of the Nepal Super League (NSL) by securing the services of French goalkeeper Jeffrey Baltus. The club officially confirmed the signing on Saturday, heralding the arrival of the experienced goalkeeper who has plied his trade in various divisions of French football.
In a statement, Lalitpur City FC expressed their excitement about the acquisition, stating, “Lalitpur City is delighted to welcome the athletic and seasoned professional, Jeffrey Baltus, to our ranks.”
Jeffrey Baltus, a product of League One club Azure’s academy, brings an impressive resume to the team, including appearances for France’s U-17 national team. His career has seen him participate in over 100 matches across the second, third, and fourth divisions of French football.
Baltus, eager to embark on this new chapter of his career, also took to social media to express his enthusiasm for representing Lalitpur City in the NSL.
At 31 years of age, Baltus, who most recently played for France’s third-tier club FC Rouen, arrives as a free agent, poised to contribute his skills and experience to the NSL and add an international flavor to the competition.
