Bus Accident Kills One and Injures 11 in Bara

In a somber turn of events, a devastating bus accident occurred in the district of Bara, leaving one person dead and 11 others injured. The incident unfolded when a bus bearing the registration number NA. 7 KHA 4749, en route from Chitwan to Birgunj, met with a grave accident at Jitpur sub-metropolitan-2 Simara Chowk on a fateful Saturday night.

The victim, 27-year-old Mukesh Sah, originally hailing from Motihari, India, and a resident of Birgunj, tragically lost his life in the accident. This unfortunate incident sent shockwaves through the local community.

The casualties extended to a number of individuals who sustained injuries. Among them were 45-year-old Bir Bahadur Mahato, a resident of Bara’s Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city-20, 30-year-old Suraj Shah Kanu from Birgunj Metropolitan City-8 in Parsa, and 18-year-old Priya Gupta. Additionally, 16-year-old Manisha Shah and 28-year-old Mohan Shah, both from the same area, were among the injured.

The list of injured individuals also includes 23-year-old Sejal Gurung from Ward No. 12, 52-year-old Lalan Chaurasia from the same locality, 27-year-old Rajan Kumar Gupta, 18-year-old Prasad Gupta from Kalaiya-7 in Bara, 35-year-old Avinash Gupta from the same area, and 19-year-old Anish Rai from Bara’s Jitpursipara Sub-Metropolitan City-2.

Unfortunately, both Bir Bahadur Mahato and Suraj Shah are currently in serious condition, making it a matter of concern for the local authorities.
